Introduction

RM stands for Report Manager and has been used in the VME-DB project.

History

In the context of the Species Module/Fishfinder project, a VREVirtual Research Environment. has been created. This never materialized in linking with publishing species factsheets. Then the VME-DB project came up, and the RM was developed further in order to publish VMEs, which materialized here:http://www.fao.org/fishery/vme-db/. In the VME project the Reports Store Gateway protocol and webservice has been developed.
