User Interface

Comments

• In the help browse, precise that the full scientific name is required by default.
• If results have to be pass on in DwC, then DwC misses the fields as grey buttons for output selection at the bottom of the interface above. We rather give them up for the first version. In addition they are not all in all TAFs.
• In any case, pay attention where the line of the put selection breaks (do not separate the tick box from its explanation n the next line like above).
• The default output options should be the Scientific Name and the Taxon Status (in addition to the id of the name in the user's list for further local links).
• The default TAF should be Catalogue of Life as the one covering the widest range of organisms (that may be accidentally included in any list to be matched).

Next goal

• To plug the interface over the algorithm, if possible right away in the VREVirtual Research Environment. Biodiversity Research. CAsey to contcat Angela if any difficulty.
• Organise the testing for external colleagues (Yde, Tony, someone from GNA,...).

Paper

BiOnym paper on GoogleDocs Review of the progress by section, and next work allocation.

• Introduction ok (edward and Nicolas)
• Overview to be finalized: Skype on Monday between Eward and Nicolas. It happened only Wednesday 02 April. Comments were added in Google Docs and selection of tools to be tested or only to read the documentation was fixed.
• Section 3 & 4 to be finished asap.
• 3.1: GP with help from Fabio.
• Matchers and Matchlets as a result of the technical documentation being written by Fabio.
• 4 Results report on efficiency (Fabio).
• 5 Discussion missing: Edward and Nicolas to start. An outline was proposed on Wednesday 2 April.

• Section 1: Almost done (Edward and Nicolas to account for their comments)

• Section 2 (Nicolas and Edward): To be done, still in draft version

• Section 3 (GP):
  • Introduce Section 3.1a or add more information to 3.1
  • Account for comments by Nicolas and Edward
  • Section 3.4 to be written (Fabio)
  • Section 3.6 to be written (by who?)

• Section 4 (GP): Almost done (GP to account for comments by Edward and Nicolas and to learn how to write a species scientific name :-P)

• Section 5 (Nicolas and Edward): To be done, still in draft version

• Section 6 (All): to be completed with more comments
