Minutes

Activity Status

NKUA has worked during the month in the mavenization fo the gRS2 and Madgik commons library. in parallel some enhancements have been also

this new version is under integration by the streams API. Some changes have been performed at the level of initialization for the HTTP transfers.


CERN has worked mainly at:

  • enhancements on the Agent Service ( async transfer handling)
  • Agent library compliancy with the CL framework
  • Scheduler Service design
  • Scheduler DB library implementation ( using DataNucleus)

Plan till TCOM

The changes on gRS library will be released in the next gCube minor release ( end of august - beginning of september)

CERN is going to release the enhancements on the Agent service and Library and a first version of the Scheduler Service and Library in the next minor

CERN is going to work on a first version of the Data transfer Widget, which will be used to scheduled transfer trough the portal.

Review

Gianpaolo explains the Geospatial use cases to be implemented fo the review.

He expressed the need to perform some transfers using the CERN data transfer facilities and he would like to know some performance indicators

CERN will update soon the Agent Service running on the Thredds Machine and perform some test with Data coming from MyOcean

Gianpaolo to send MyOcean credentials to CERN in order to perform the test on real data.
