Actions

  • A new wiki page dedicated to what will be demonstrated, or should be demonstrable in the next review. FORTH (Yannis) offered kindly to start it. Then align with WP's, and plan / prioritize the required activities
  • Prepare early our presence (slides and demos) for the next review: no the last days
  • Documentation of the ongoing activities of Claudio and Fabio on providing solutions for publishing LOD (to avoid duplications and foster synergies)
  • More detailed description for the rows of the wiki page
  • FORTH to prepare a document for PEB covering below comments; improved collaboration between WP's and WP-tasks across WP.
  • Carlo / Claudio /Julien to describe FLOD / TLO data exchange with / from Darwin core data repos.
    • The result is to be an attractive proposition to present to the Board meeting

General Comments by Yannis

  • The cluster is not only a grouping of requirements. It was used as a grouping for contributions in the last review. Therefore some of its activities it should be much more integrated with the DoW, milestones, PMs, etc, and more carefully/strictly planned and controlled.
  • How we manage our activities, i.e. what process we follow. It is a collaborative project, several partners, persons are involved. We need tools to support this. Activities should be justified, documented, planned, assigned, controlled, evaluated, demonstrated, presented. We should also be aware that activities that require 1 month to implement in a common setting, require much more time to be implemented in gcube, because specific policies have to be adopted, and several components and partners/persons are involved and so on. Therefore the process and the prioritization of requirements/objectives is of prominent importance. I strongly support the ticket-based mgmt proposed by Lino and Donatella. It saves time, and reduces misunderstandings
  • Proposals about sem cluster mgmt. Assign leaders to subactivities ? (to carry out the decision process required from requirements to development and demo)?. The PMs of IRD are probably too few.
