This page is going to describe a Catalogue of functionality which best fit the current status of the iMarine infrastructure.
The functionality catalogue can be categorized in 4 main areas, which represents different level of exploitation of the infrastructure and different categories of potential users.
The following categories have been identified:
- Infrastructure: for Infrastructure developers seeking to support their organization with a infrastructural services
- Applications: for VREVirtual Research Environment. customers to manage part of their work-flow, improve the quality of data-flows, shorten communication time.
- Services: for IT managers looking to integrate / outsource / use services with his own application / infrastructure
- Data: for Data Analyst looking for data-resources to improve their interpretation of data, e.g. enriched data-sets, biodiversity data, geomorphology maps.
