Discussion netCDF standard for OCF, thredds software for openndap, wcs. Francesco is testing the data from MyOcean. Giampaolo need to understand if the
Fabrice : Thredds has a cache of data from MyOcean, to be copied into Thredds. So we need to understand how to discover this data, if the data is available or not.
Gianpaolo : there is a need by the community to publish netCDF file published the infrastructure, to have integrated at the level of the infrastructure, using standards. so the integration can be lowered. OGC output integrated in the content Manager.
Activies from NKUA:
gRS can be used to work on the data transfer part. Transfer point to point, payload object, file transfer in file chunking, stream. the transfer protocol is tcp, can be changed to use http, ftp, bittorrent the possibility could be to store the buffers in ftp, or http. Alex will work on this activity this month.
Next phone conf scheduling in next month.
Giampaolo Coro: question to Terradue, Middleware for data access in MyOcean, if it's possible to integrate the software to access MyOcean in the infrastructure.
