Claudio presented some slides regarding the X-Link - Chimaera integration and the tasks/activities that are required towards this integration.link to ppt
Pavlos detailed what it is required in order to start implementing an extension of X-Link. Specifically,
- The files processors for each format.
- Details of the Knowledge Base that will be exploited for the entity linking process (e.g. its SPARQL endpoint, etc.).
- The code (and the JSON structure) for populating the index
- More details of the index (that is hosted by NKUA), e.g. how one can access the index, its structure, etc.
Pavlos said that he can dedicate much effort on May and that the idea scenario is to have a first version of the X-Link extension at the end of May. On June, he can dedicate time only at the end of the month (after 24).
Claudio said that he is busy on May, but he will try to collect/prepare what it is needed and send them to Pavlos.
Pavlos said that the main risk is the existence of possible dependencies of the data/information that will be sent by Claudio.
Lino suggested to use tickets for tracking the corresponding activities. Pavlos and Claudio agreed.

Claudio will create one ticket in correspondence of each identified task to carry out the adoption of xLink in Chimaera
Claudio will deliver a documentation of technical specifications for Pavlos in order to let him start the work during May; this will require checkpoints along the development of the work between FAO-FORTH.
FORTH will start implementing the X-Link extension
Claudio will keep up with the update of xLink to ensure that requirements are respected and take over the work as soon as feasible (mainly towards the end of May)
