This page intends to be an inventory of the data sources shared by data providers with the Geospatial Cluster.

FAO

  • Global capture production: fishery statistical collection on global catch data (by FAO Major Area)
  • Regional capture collections: Regional fishery statistical collections on catch data (by FAO statistical areas)
  • Tuna Atlas collections: Tuna fishery statistical collections as used in the FAO Tuna Atlas

  • FAO Aquatic Species distributions: Ecological distributions of species of interest for fisheries

IRD

  • IRD Sardara database: a database on world tuna catches
  • IRD Obstuna database: a database on tuna fisheries bycatches

  • IRD IPT server: species occurences: brings part of IRD databases (through views) that shows location of species occurences

  • physical, chemical, and biological data (SST, Wind, Clorophyll,etc)
