INSPIRE services decommissioning

The INSPIRE VOVirtual Organization; resources are going to be freed and make available to the other infrastructure VOs. Some of the resources ( like PEeng gLite Adtaptor and Hadoop Adaptor ) are going to be move to the Ecosystem VOVirtual Organization;. As well the HepGateway VREVirtual Research Environment. will be deployed under Ecosystem ( and its users moved as well)

The decommissioning will have the following steps:

VOVirtual Organization;/VREs GHNgCube Hosting Node. service Scope Removal

  • DONE (CERN) remove INSPIRE scope from the portal and newportal GHNgCube Hosting Node. ( both GHNConfig that GHNConfig.client)
  • DONE (CERN) remove INSPIRE anf HepGateway groups in Liferay
  • DONE (CERN) node1.p.d4science.research-infrastructures.eu:8000: remove Scope
  • DONE (CERN) node6.p.d4science.research-infrastructures.eu:8000: remove Scope
  • DONE (CERN) dl20.di.uoa.gr:8084 : remove Scope
  • DONE (CERN) node1.hadoop.d4science.research-infrastructures.eu:8080 : remove Scope
  • DONE (CERN) remove INSPIRE scope from monitoring apps
  • DONE (CERN) remove INSPIRE scope from RM portlet

INSPIRE GHNgCube Hosting Node. Clean

Some of the INSPIRE GHNs need to be reinstalled from scratch following these steps:

  • $GLOBUS_LOCATION/bin/gcore-stop-container
  • $GLOBUS_LOCATION/bin/gcore-clean-state
  • rm -rf $GLOBUS_LOCATION
  • GHNgCube Hosting Node. installation (instructions available at [1]) and configuration to join the d4science.research-infrastructures.eu infrastructure.
  • on the GHNgCube Hosting Node. node : wget --user=<yourLdapUsername> --password=<yourLdapPassword> http://bscw.i-marine.research-infrastructures.eu/bscw/bscw.cgi/d243895/simm.key -O $GLOBUS_LOCATION/config/simm.key

The latest GHNgCube Hosting Node. version to be installed can be downloaded from [2]

The following GHNgCube Hosting Node. need to be reinstalled:

Moving functionality to Ecosystem

  • DONE (CERN ) Deployment of the HEPGateway VREVirtual Research Environment. in Ecosystem, using node40 and node41 nodes ( Service deployed, group to be created on the new portal)
  • DONE (CERN ) Configure INSPIRE openserach, move the GENERIC Resource, IRBootrapper job and instantiate inspire open-search ws-resource
