Site Managers are responsible for the sites contributing to the D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. Ecosystem. Their primary tasks are:
- maintain the infrastructure hardware resources up and running
- deploy and upgrade the different nodes of the infrastructure: gLite nodes, gCube nodes and Hadoop Nodes
- apply the nodes certification, nodes downtime, and infrastructure security procedures
There are five sites in the D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. Ecosystem. Each site is represented by at least one Site Manager.
