Site Managers are responsible for the iMarine sites contributing to the D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. Ecosystem. Their primary tasks are:
- maintain the infrastructure hardware resources up and running
- deploy and upgrade the different resources of the infrastructure: gLite, gCube, Hadoop and Runtime Resources
- apply the certification, downtime, and infrastructure security procedures
There are five iMarine sites in the D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. Ecosystem. Each site is represented by at least one Site Manager.
