Species App is an Android / iPhone application that uses data from D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. partners to display summary fact sheets for selected marine species. it is a follow-up to AppliFish, extended with more info, additional interactive infrastructure features, and some design revision.
The app is a mash-up of FAO - Fishbase - OBIS - WoRMS data, and uses the ICIS VREVirtual Research Environment. for data preparation, and reads from an D4ScienceAn e-Infrastructure operated by the D4Science.org initiative. geoserver to display AquaMaps.
