View source for Role Site Manager

Site Managers are responsible for the sites contributing to the D4Science Infrastructure. Their primary tasks are:
* maintain the infrastructure hardware resources up and running
* deploy and upgrade the different resources  of the infrastructure: UMD, gCube, Hadoop and Runtime Resources
* apply the certification, downtime, and infrastructure security procedures


There are five sites in the D4Science Infrastructure. Each site is represented by at least one Site Manager.
